1. What We Collect
We collect the email address and name you provide during sign-up, your in-app activity (quests completed, XP earned, streaks), content you post to the social feed, and optional profile information (personality type, interests, workout preferences). We do not collect your precise location — only a general area you optionally provide for quest suggestions.
2. How We Use It
Your data is used to operate LokdIn: syncing your progress, generating personalised daily quests via AI, displaying your profile and feed posts, and sending push notifications you opt into. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, OpenAI for AI-generated content (your profile context is sent to generate tasks — no PII beyond your first name, level, and preferences), Sentry for crash reporting (no personally identifiable information attached), and PostHog for anonymous usage analytics.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time from the app's profile menu. Account deletion removes all personal data within 30 days.
5. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in plain text. Feed photos are stored in access-controlled Supabase Storage buckets.
6. Children
LokdIn is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
